Treasurer for Mediation Surrey

We are looking for a Treasurer to join our committed team as a Board member and Trustee of Mediation Surrey. The role is voluntary and reports to the Chair.

Responsibilities:

1. The financial and accounting policy of the Charity
2. Playing a leading role on the Board on issues such as strategy, financing and risk management
3. Working with the DOS in the production and Board approval of the Annual Budget (approx. £200,000) and its monitoring thereafter
4. Liaise with the Funding Trustee on the financing strategy of the Charity
5. Monitor and approval of expense payments submitted by the DOS
6. Maintain up to date financial records and quarterly summary accounts
7. Oversee production of year end accounts for the annual AGM
