The Strategist/Account Planner blends strategic thinking, platform expertise, and channel best practices across email, online display, search, paid social, and more, to produce effective strategies that define where and how creative ideas come to life to generate leads and drive sales. Focus on developing core insights that lead to compelling digital strategies for clients. Through consumer and market research, creative briefs, idea conception, and social & mobile ecosystem development, the Strategist will play a key role in driving innovation and ideas.

THE ROLE

The (Senior) Strategist position is a member of the Future Leaders Team at TRIPTK with significant Project Delivery and Cultural Contribution responsibility. The role reports into a Director level member of the Strategy team. The heart of the role is proactively supporting project leads, driving and owning the day-to-day strategy delivery of client projects, servicing client relationships for project health, and modeling a growth mindset. You’ll be responsible for the overall management and delivery of Brand Foundation and Futures projects that transform insights into powerful stories and strategic action. We’re looking for a unique T-shaped talent who combines a curious problem-solving mindset with a bias for action. Your drive to turn insights into big strategic ideas will inspire exciting opportunities across client industries - from travel & hospitality to fashion & beauty, and alc & beverage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Work: (90%)

  • Drive multiple client workstreams simultaneously, acting as content, research and analysis lead, and a key contributor to strategy development.
  • Proactively support Strategy and Production project leads with clear communication, meeting synthesis, client-ready work product, and client responsiveness.
  • Demonstrate proficiency across multiple TRIPTK methodologies and proactively seek opportunities to develop new strategic skills and competencies on client projects.
  • Deliver confident verbal presentation of strategies, including responses to challenging questions, eliciting positive feedback from key client stakeholders.
  • Craft compelling visual presentations that bring ideas to life with clarity and influence.
  • Elicit positive client feedback through thoughtful, attentive, and proactive client service.
  • Partner with production leads to ensure client account plans are regularly updated and action items are implemented.
  • Support project health by proactively identifying smarter, more efficient project designs and ways of working.

The Business + Culture: (10%)

  • Proactively support business development by providing client intelligence and unearthing insights into project opportunities.
  • Secure at least one new client credentials meeting or project enquiry per quarter.
  • Regularly support agency reputation with LinkedIn posts or articles aligned to agency growth priorities.
  • Frequently act as a vocal community champion of agency offerings and services at industry, network, and client events to elicit new leads and contacts.
  • Drive and own the development and delivery of strategic portions of winning proposals in support of growth and senior teams.
  • Actively participate in shaping a vibrant studio culture, supporting key initiatives and taking proactive steps to enhance employee experience, information exchange, and a culture of high performance.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and belonging at TRIPTK.
  • Embody and exemplify company values and associated competencies and behaviors.
  • Proactively support the implementation of DEIB goals.
