Do you have leadership experience across KS3/4? Are you based in the Bradford area? Then, this may be the opportunity for you. We are recruiting for an experienced and professional Director of Learning to join the leadership team at one of our partnership Secondary Schools based in Bradford. The full-time role is expected to commence September 2025, although an earlier start date may be considered for the right applicant.
The Islamic Secondary School is part of the Star Academies Trust, proud to offer a challenging and inclusive learning experience for students of all abilities. You will provide high quality leadership and support for staff and students within your care, becoming an outstanding leader, focused on positive wellbeing and excellent academic progression. You will play a key role in developing a strong, effective culture of educational excellence, within a caring and Islamic environment that is enriched with the values of discipline and mutual respect.
You will be responsible for devising and implementing development plans for staff, with clear annual targets and up-to-date performance data alongside the promotion of strategies to raise attainment and progression for students. You can expect to earn up to £230 per day for this role, salary is negotiable depending on experience and the role requirements.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for education
- Previous experience in Senior Leadership is preferred
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
