Your role
The Director of Community Engagement and Outreach serves as the key liaison between Pride in London and the city’s diverse LGBTQ+ communities. This role leads community engagement initiatives, oversees the Community Council and Youth Board, and ensures Pride in London’s events and programmes are inclusive and representative. The Director plays a crucial part in fostering meaningful connections and amplifying diverse LGBTQ+ voices across London.
Your Responsibilities:

Lead community engagement initiatives with London’s diverse LGBTQ+ communities.

Develop and implement strategies to foster meaningful connections and partnerships.

Oversee the Community Council, ensuring effective representation and collaboration.

Manage the Youth Board, nurturing young LGBTQ+ voices and leadership.

Create and maintain open channels of communication between Pride in London and various LGBTQ+ groups.

Organise and facilitate community meetings, focus groups, and feedback sessions.

Identify opportunities for Pride in London to support and amplify grassroots LGBTQ+ initiatives.

Ensure Pride in London’s events and programmes are inclusive and representative of the entire LGBTQ+ spectrum.
