EarthStream is partnered with an international business who specialise in the construction of cutting-edge energy projects, and are supporting the search for an experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join an exciting UK project.

The Commissioning Engineer will supervise the commissioning of electrical components and systems, including rectifiers, LV switches, power transformers, HV equipment, and protection relays. You will ensure all the activities conducted on site follow the correct process in accordance with project requirements and in strict compliance with all EHS requirements, and coordinate all necessary activities with all involved parties, such as the commissioning team, erection team, and sub-contractors.

Essential skills and experience:

  • At least 3 years working experience in power stations Electrical Commissioning activities
  • Strong team spirit, working with an international team and other cultures
  • Strong organizational ability with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English
  • Diploma in Electrical engineering
  • Flexibility to relocate
