Join our FE College, where we are seeking passionate Lecturers to deliver UAL Media programmes from Level 1 to Level 3. This role is ideal for candidates who are committed to inspiring students and preparing them for further education or careers in media, television, film, and the creative industry.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions across a range of UAL Media programmes.
  • Work off-site with students during practical exercises to enhance their learning experience.
  • Assist in developing industry links to facilitate work experience opportunities for students.
  • Engage with continuous professional development activities to ensure subject knowledge remains current.
  • Participate in the assessment and evaluation of student work to ensure high standards are maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Media or a closely related subject area, or equivalent.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the media industry and editing techniques.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners aged 16-19.
  • Willingness to obtain a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the Further Education sector, with support from the College.
