Production Role Overview: As a Production Engineer, you will provide engineering support and documentation to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. You'll convert customer requirements (parts lists, drawings) into usable formats for internal teams.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience in electronic assembly and understanding of technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word; previous Engineering/Technician role is preferred.
  • Mechanical assembly experience and knowledge of MRP Stock Control is advantageous.
  • Continuous Improvement experience and recognised engineering qualifications (A Level, BTEC, or higher) are a plus.

Liaise with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production & Quality teams to meet production targets.

Duties:

  • Input and check Bills of Materials (BoMs).
  • Plan, create, and update Assembly Aids (AA's).
  • Ensure configuration control of documents and engineering packs.
  • Implement design changes and report issues to internal teams.
  • Support production analysis and process improvements.
  • Provide Design For Manufacture (DFM) feedback to customers.
  • Support QA activities and assist with labour estimates.
