Production Role Overview: As a Production Engineer, you will provide engineering support and documentation to ensure manufacturing requirements are met. You'll convert customer requirements (parts lists, drawings) into usable formats for internal teams.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in electronic assembly and understanding of technical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word; previous Engineering/Technician role is preferred.
- Mechanical assembly experience and knowledge of MRP Stock Control is advantageous.
- Continuous Improvement experience and recognised engineering qualifications (A Level, BTEC, or higher) are a plus.
Liaise with Sales, Purchasing, Engineering, Production & Quality teams to meet production targets.
Duties:
- Input and check Bills of Materials (BoMs).
- Plan, create, and update Assembly Aids (AA's).
- Ensure configuration control of documents and engineering packs.
- Implement design changes and report issues to internal teams.
- Support production analysis and process improvements.
- Provide Design For Manufacture (DFM) feedback to customers.
- Support QA activities and assist with labour estimates.
