Workshop Supervisor / Production Supervisor (Steel Fabrication)

Our client is looking for a Workshop Supervisor / Production Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. Please note, the main base for this position will be Luton.

They are specialists in their field (architectural/structural steelworks), with work in a range of construction fields from large scale new builds through to smaller renovations, refurbishments, and interior fit outs.

Must have knowledge in all aspects of Steel Fabrication.

Rate of Pay: Up to £54,000 (Depending on experience)

All Candidates Must:

• Manage, motivate, and monitor the performance of all workshop staff and support all staff in daily tasks and development.
• Ensure availability of all materials required to meet production targets by forward planning and ordering.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met by maximizing use of available resources and scheduling working hours to achieve these targets.
• Be prepared for some overtime during periods of high production.
• Deal with other TPM staff and Site Supervisors and maintain excellent working relationships. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
• Ensure adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations.
• Book and arrange dispatch of product to customer sites as required.
• Attend meetings with senior management as required.
• Ensure the workplace is kept clean, tidy, and safe.
• Complete all associated paperwork and documentation accurately and timely.
