We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our IT Development & Solution team within Connells Group. As a member of a Scrum team, you will need a unique blend of technical skills, business knowledge, and interpersonal skills that enable you to effectively analyse, communicate, and collaborate across these agile, cross-functional, business aligned teams.
We offer hybrid working arrangement with 1 or 2 days a week in our Milton Keynes or Manchester offices.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable technology deliveries.
- Own the analysis and understanding of the technology requirements for the business area they support.
- Use different techniques such as interviews, surveys, and workshops to facilitate this.
- Support product backlog grooming, ensuring that it is clear and concise, and aligned with the objectives of the business area they support.
- Work closely with Software Engineers, participate in sprint planning sessions and daily stand up meetings, provide guidance on requirements and updates on any issues encountered.
- Play a part in coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, defining test scenarios, coordinating with end-users, and conducting UAT sessions.
- Support various agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical resources.
- Proven experience working as an Agile Business Analyst as part of a fast-paced software engineering team.
- Background in delivery of successful technology initiatives in customer facing industries.
- Experience in the Conveyancing/Legal Industry would be desirable.
- Understanding of and experience with SAFe and Scrum.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Dev Ops, Jira Software and Confluence.
