Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Farm Manager to leadand oversee all aspects of our agricultural operations. Theideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of farmmanagement, a strong background in crop production, and theability to implement sustainable and efficient farmingpractices. The Farm Manager will play a key role in planning,organizing, and directing the activities of the farm to ensureproductivity, profitability, and environmental stewardship.
Job responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans for crop production,considering factors such as crop rotation, soil health, andmarket demand.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define long‐term goals andobjectives for the farm.
Oversee all aspects of crop production, including planting,cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting.
Monitor and manage pest and disease control measures, adheringto organic or sustainable farming practices.
Prepare and manage the farm budget, ensuring cost‐effectiveoperations and resource allocation.
Monitor financial performance and identify opportunities forcost savings and revenue generation.
Lead and manage a team of farm workers, providing training,guidance, and support.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficientworkflow and goal attainment.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of farm equipment,including tractors, plows, and harvesters.
Manage the procurement of necessary resources such as seeds,fertilizers, and other inputs.
Qualifications Bachelor\’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or relatedfield.
Proven experience in farm management, with a focus onsustainable and/or organic farming.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Knowledge of crop management, pest control, and irrigationpractices.
Familiarity with budgeting and financial management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
