We are looking to recruit a Manufacturing Operative to work within an established business in Birtley. Candidates should take the time to read all the elements of this job advert carefully. Please make your application promptly.
The role involves:
- Preparing the materials required for production
- Following SOPs, ensuring the correct quantities of product are used for the production of each product
- Machine operating
- Quality control and attention to detail
- Working to daily targets
This does require manually lifting the materials so applicants must be physically fit. The role will involve working on a three shift pattern: 6.00am-2.00pm, Monday to Friday; 2.00pm-10.00pm, Monday to Friday; and 10.00pm-6.00am, Sunday to Thursday. You will also be required to work Saturday when you are on the 6.00am-2.00pm shift (one in every 3 weeks).

- Previous use of a Fork Lift truck is highly advantageous
This role is to start immediately, please apply as soon as possible to be considered for this position. The starting salary for this role is £27,468.15 + £3,559.20 shift allowance (£31,027.35) and upon completion of the training period will increase to £29,482.19 + £3,559.20 shift allowance (£33,041.39). This is a permanent position working for a company offering a number of benefits.
