Are you a hands-on finance professional seeking a leadership role in an SME? Reporting to the CFO, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day finances of the business, playing a key role in financial operations and strategic decision-making. You will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Managing budgets and cash flow forecasts
- Analysing operational costs to improve efficiency
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable
- Managing payroll, VAT returns, and tax compliance
- Providing expert financial advice and support for business expansion decisions
- Optimising internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance
- Leveraging financial software to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy
Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in a similar role, preferably within an SME environment.
