We are currently looking for an experienced EUC Engineer to join our client, a local government organisation on an initial 3 month contract based in Middlesex.
Rate: £30 per hour inside IR35 via an umbrella company
Tenure: 3 months, extendable
Hybrid: 3 days onsite in Wembley; remaining days remote working
The ideal EUC Engineer will have expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Remote Desktop Service and RemoteApp. They will also have experience of working within councils or the local government. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting RDS, RemoteApp and AVD environments. This involves ensuring the timely deployment of patches, minimising system downtime, maintaining compliance with security standards, and addressing any issues that arise during the process.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience working as an Intune Engineer within a large organisation.
- Expertise in implementing and managing Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Remote Desktop Service and RemoteApp.
- Experience with profile management including FSLogix.
- Strong experience with Windows 10 and 11 application deployment, configuration, troubleshooting and support.
- Experience with security baselines, compliance policies, conditional access, configuration profiles, update policies and AD Group Policy.
- Experience with Azure update manager.
- Package and deploy software applications via Intune.
- Resolve issues arising from application deployments and update failures.
- Ability to use PowerShell for automating tasks, managing systems, and troubleshooting issues.
- Evaluate new Intune features and capabilities, recommending adoption where appropriate.
- Accurately and clearly document fixes to technical issues and update the IT knowledge base.
- Create and review high-level and low-level documentation.
- Requires working across multiple customer sites.
