About the Role
Are you an experienced Electrical/System Technician looking for your next challenge? We are on the hunt for a hands-on professional to play a key role in our Integration Centre, ensuring our hardware platforms are assembled, powered up, and tested to the highest standards. You will be leading a small team, working with cutting-edge technology, and making a real impact on high-profile projects.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading and supporting a small team of assembly technicians, ensuring smooth integration of hardware solutions.
- Powering up and preparing hardware for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Performing electrical inspections, including Earth Bond and Flash Testing.
- Managing electrical isolation, de-isolation, and connection processes.
- Setting up legacy test equipment and safety system test racks.
- Ensuring all hardware is properly disconnected and prepared for shipment after testing.
- Keeping detailed records of test and calibration data.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system hardware defects.
- Supporting engineering teams during FAT activities.
- Adhering to strict health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Opportunities for offshore work and international assignments (preferred but not essential).
What We Are Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of current electrical standards & wiring regulations (BS 7671).
- Experience with Process Control Systems (Honeywell DCS & Safety Systems preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- OPITO Approved Offshore BOSIET training (preferred but not essential).
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for quality and efficiency improvements.
