First People Solutions are delighted to be working with a leading construction contractor in Scotland to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and growing company, managing multiple high-value projects across the Central Belt.
The Role:
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing 3-5 contracts simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a variety of commercial, residential, and public sector projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple construction contracts across Edinburgh & Glasgow
- Ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Leading and mentoring project teams, site managers, and subcontractors
- Maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Driving health & safety, quality, and compliance standards across all sites
- Overseeing contract administration, cost control, and reporting
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry
- Strong background in managing build projects up to £5million
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Scottish building regulations and construction contracts
- Full UK driving license
