You’ll play a vital role in every aspect of coastal engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

Your Purpose:
- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What You Can Bring:
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Sound knowledge in ocean waves, tidal theory, extreme value statistics, nearshore wave processes, and sediment transport.
- Design experience of coastal structures such as flood defences, sea walls, breakwaters, revetments, and beaches to appropriate codes and standards such as BS6349, EurOtop manual, and rock manual.
- The ability to plan and direct others in the use of numerical modelling to simulate wave propagation, tidal flows, hydrodynamics, etc.
