Main Water Hygiene Engineer Tasks:- Conduct visual inspections of water systems.
- Monitor temperatures of tap outlets and storage tanks/cylinders.
- Collect water samples for analysis.
- Perform closed system analysis using a site test kit.
- Service and inspect thermostatic mixing valves.
- Descale and conduct internal inspections of water heaters.
- Disinfect and clean shower heads.
- Clean and disinfect pipework systems, cold water storage tanks, and cooling towers as per BS 8558:2011 standards.
- Proven mechanical skills and technical expertise.
- Confidence in discussing technical matters and accurately documenting engineer reports and log entries.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively to complete tasks.
- A positive mindset and enthusiasm for the role and the company.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Physical capability for tasks involving lifting, carrying, and climbing.
- Ideally, some background in plumbing.
- Valid UK driving license.
