Quantity Surveyor required for an M&E Contractor. SSA are currently hiring for an intermediate level Quantity Surveyor with a large project within MEP. The project requires working with blue chip clients to provide building services to over 1500 homes through four phases. The project involves the installation of Shell and Core and Fit-out of Electrical and Mechanical works to apartments, District Heating network distributed into the Plant Room and all blocks, ground levels and service bays, LTHW, BCW, Commercial Sprinkler and Residential Sprinkler, Wet Riser, Dry Risers and Apartment Fit-Out with FCUs. All small power and lighting, Fire Alarm, Smoke and Environmental Control, Battery Storage system and Resident Facilities installations.
Duties may include:
- Production of accurate project cost reporting, commercial dashboards and project cost forecast
- Identification and evaluation of commercial risks and opportunities for improved performance
- Subcontract evaluation and management
- Production of accurate and timely Cost Value Reports
- Provide commercial support to all ongoing Project and Commercial reviews
- Valuations
- Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
- Assisting in the development of junior members of staff
Requirements:
- Relevant Quantity Surveying degrees
- 3+ years experience of Quantity Surveying
- Ability to work in a team
