Our client is a national leader in Biotechnology products, with vaccines already approved and saving lives as we speak. They are also a leading innovator, with a pipeline of products that will elevate the company even further. As part of their expansion efforts, they are looking for a new QA Director to join them on site, full time, at their headquarters in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The Role
- Managing the existing QA Team - Providing leadership, training and development, as well as helping them in their day to day roles
- Strategising - working with your team to ensure a stable and robust Quality Strategy
- QMS Maintenance - All QMS need updating from time to time, as they are living processes, and as a big part of the QAD role you will oversee the management and updating of this key system within the organisation and across their other locations.
Of course, this is a huge simplification of such a diverse and interesting role, but should give a flavour of what the company are looking for.
Requirements
- Someone with extensive QA experience at a Director level within Biotechnology or Vaccines focussed organisations
- Someone with a QP Certification would be a huge advantage (to act as backup QP on the licence)
- Experience of working in Quality Assurance within Vaccines or Biotechnology
- All applicants must hold a UK Citizenship Title or a right to work in the UK
