Project Coordinator (18 month fixed term), Stockport, £40,000

About the Company:

A growing, global events company, already known for delivering world-class corporate events are in need of a new Project Coordinator to support planning timeframes for several massive events. With a dynamic and collaborative team, the organisation brings together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals to create unforgettable experiences for their customers.

The Role:

A highly organised and proactive Project Coordinator is required to join the team – focusing on mapping out event / project timeframes. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about event planning and project management. The role plays a key part in supporting the successful execution of events, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of global events (using Microsoft Projects).
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Manage existing project timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support the creation of new project documentation, including schedules, reports, and post-event evaluations.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance event processes and efficiency.

About You:

  • Proficiency in project management tools (in particular Microsoft Projects) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in project coordination, event planning, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • A passion for the events industry and a willingness to travel when required.
