Location: Uxbridge
Salary: 45k basic + bonus + benefits
As a Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Estimator / Vehicle Estimator you will:
- Examine damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
- Estimate cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Review repair cost estimates with body shop manager or foreman.
- Determine feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors.
- Evaluate practicality of repair as opposed to payment of vehicle market value before accident.
- Determine salvage value on total vehicle loss.
- Prepare insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
- Estimate cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.
You will need to have relevant qualifications as well as previous experience working as a Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Damage Estimator / Vehicle Estimator, as well as a full UK driving license.
The hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8.00 – 6.00, with Saturdays as and when required.
