The ideal candidate will have an excellent academic record and be looking for a strong platform with plenty of scope for progression and a nice collegiate working environment. You will be advising clients on a wide range of finance transactions, including corporate finance, structured finance, derivatives, asset finance, project finance, fund finance, real estate finance, and banking.
CRITERIA- UK or Commonwealth admission (up to 5 years PQE)
- Relevant international/top-tier firm experience and prior exposure to finance transactions is required
- Excellent academic, technical, and communication skills with the adaptability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
The offshore legal sector in London is going from strength to strength with several leading firms offering advice on Jersey, Guernsey, Cayman, BVI, and/or Bermudian law from their City offices. The work is fast-paced and exciting and typically involves juggling multiple matters whilst also enjoying extensive client contact and a hands-on role in business development. It is of course a perfect move for a lawyer who has been offshore and who is looking to return to city life but it might equally appeal to someone who craves City calibre work but who likes the idea of a smaller team and a less formulaic practice.
