Within the Production Support team, you will provide Level 2/3 support for the UAT and production environment for all Front Office and Middle Office applications across all asset classes. You will communicate daily with Development teams, Portfolio Managers, Execution Traders, and business teams to establish a best-in-house support system.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure readiness of the global trading platform for both pre-trading and post-trading activities.
- Monitor and support the entire transaction flow across the trading platform.
- Promptly identify, analyze, and resolve alerts and issues, or escalate them to minimize disruptions in trade flow and prevent outages.
- Collaborate extensively with the trading community, back office operations, brokers, exchanges, development teams, and infrastructure teams.
- Supervise automated processes, scheduled jobs, and routine reports.
- Create tooling and automate processes where necessary to optimize workflows.
- Liaise with Development and Infrastructure teams to coordinate and participate in software/new version releases.
The right candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years experience supporting front office applications/trading systems.
- Strong scripting/development ability in one or more languages (e.g., Python).
- SQL experience.
- Experience with KDB.
- Degree in computer science or related field.
