Rail Travel Consultant

Do you have a good knowledge of Europe and putting together tailor-made holidays by rail?\\n\\nWe have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established tour operator (based in Central London) who specialise in rail holidays in Europe.\\n\\nThis company are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for handling incoming enquiries by phone and email and constructing bespoke rail itineraries.\\n\\nIf you have good European destination knowledge, the ability to communicate effectively with clients / travel agents, please apply now.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\nTaking rail enquiries from direct customers and travel agents\\nQuoting and booking group and individual rail travel in Europe using various in-house systems\\nManaging new and existing accounts; series and adhoc groups, tailor-made or repeat tours\\nOperating and invoicing FIT and group travel, including dealing with pre and post departure queries\\nLiaising with key suppliers to ensure the accuracy of travel arrangements\\nMaintain excellent levels of after-sales service, including in-trip queries or issues \\n\\nSkills Required:\\n\\nExperience booking rail travel in Europe\\nProven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.\\nThe ability to speak a second European language is highly desirable but not essential\\nExcellent accuracy and attention to detail\\nExcellent written and spoken English \\n\\nPackage\\n\\nA competitive basic salary of £28,000 – £29,000 + bonus\\nMonday – Friday: 9am – 6pm\\nHybrid working \\n\\nINTERESTED?\\n\\nPlease follow the instructions to apply attaching your CV!
