Role Description
This is a contract role for an EHS Consultant. The EHS Consultant will be responsible for conducting EHS gap analysis, supporting in developing risk assessments, developing and implementing health and safety policies, and performing audits. The role involves conducting site visits, providing occupational health and safety guidance, and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations. This is a hybrid role, meaning it is based in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas with the flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
Consultant is responsible for:
· Supporting clients in delivering high quality EHS support and guidance
· Engaging with clients to build effective EHS Management systems
· Supporting clients as a competent person providing EHS support
· Delivering EHS projects for clients in specialist industries
Qualifications
- Expertise in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health
- Health & Safety knowledge, including NEBOSH certification
- Proficiency in conducting Audits
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
- Experience with risk assessment processes and developing safety policies
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field is a plus
Full driving licence and car is required.
