We are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer, specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced engineer to take a lead role in delivering high-impact projects within a growing and dynamic industry.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nLead and oversee the design, planning, and execution of mechanical engineering aspects of projects.\\nProvide technical expertise and guidance to mechanical engineers and project teams, fostering knowledge and excellence within the team.\\nMentor and develop junior engineers and team members, supporting their growth.\\nLead the mechanical design of water and wastewater infrastructure, including P&IDs, valve schedules, pumps, tanks, process equipment, above-ground pipework, and lifting/access steelwork.\\nCoordinate with the wider design team, including Electrical, Civil, Geotech, and Process engineers.\\nEnsure adherence to client asset standards and engage in technical discussions regarding best practices and standards waivers.\\nCollaborate closely with commercial, operational, and construction teams to develop practical, efficient, and safe solutions throughout the design stages and construction phases.\\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, adopting a one-team approach to support their goals and objectives.\\nWhat You’ll Need:\\n\\nChartered Mechanical Engineer (or working towards Chartered status)\\nDegree in Mechanical Engineering or related field\\nStrong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards related to process industries, particularly the water sector\\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills\\nProven ability to manage multiple design tasks and meet deadlines\\nOnly those with proof of right to work in the UK should apply for this role. \\n\\nApply today or get in touch with
