As a camp manager or deputy manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, guiding and supporting our team to deliver exceptional camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all our young campers.
Camp Manager
As the Camp Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the camp, providing motivation, support, and direction. Your expertise in product knowledge, programming, customer care, diplomacy, financial management, and health and safety will be crucial in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for campers and staff. Maintaining open communication with the operations team, contact centre, and parents is vital for a seamless experience. You will also handle staff rotas, manage daily staff ratios, and ensure efficient camp operations within budgetary requirements.
Deputy Camp Manager
As the Deputy Manager, you play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of the camp. Providing essential support to the Camp Manager, you ensure staff members are fully equipped to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for the children. Working with the management team, you contribute to the overall success of our camps, leaving a positive impact on young campers' lives and creating cherished, lasting memories.
What We Look For
To be eligible for this role at Camp Beaumont, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Must be over 18 years old
- Available to work during the School Holidays
- Be a UK/EU citizen with 2 x right to work IDs
- Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in managing a childcare camp (programming, health and safety, financial care and customer care).
- Desirable to have a level 3 childcare qualification / PGCE
- Possesses bags of energy and enthusiasm
- Can demonstrate a passion for working with children
- Have initiative and the ability to work independently
- High level of safeguarding awareness
- Ideally, you will be Paediatric first aid trained, however, this is not essential as we will pay for you to undertake this training
