The Role: Our client is looking for a hands-on Business Operations Manager to the CEO who will be working for a Wealth Management firm with high standards and expectations. The successful candidate will play an instrumental part in uniting teams across the business to get everyone working towards a common goal - aligning the strategic vision of the Wealth Management company. The Business Operations Manager will work closely with the CEO and Executive Assistant as well as other team members, playing a vital role in streamlining operations, driving organisational priorities, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the Executive leadership team of the function.
This role will suit a tenacious individual who is proactive. The role will be looking after the CEO’s action list and making sure that the committee and senior executive actions are managed accordingly and driven forward. The Business Operations Manager will have management responsibilities in this role and will help co-ordinate and manage preparation of agendas, presentations (including Powerpoint slides), recording and follow up of actions, track and monitor delivery of goals, cascade information, co-ordinate information requests and other support required.
The Business Operations Manager will confidently work in conjunction with the Wealth Management business Leadership team, prepare strategic or operational notes and presentations for various audiences across the business, ensuring timely execution and delivery of key projects by managing resources, timelines and stakeholders.
The Candidate:
- Management Assistant / Business Operational Support to CEO experience - ideally within an Investment Management firm but certainly Financial Services.
- Program/Project management experience.
- Experience working with multiple functions in a matrix organisation.
- Advanced level of analysis and synthesis skills.
- Excellent Excel and Powerpoint experience.
- Delivery with the ability to learn and embrace continuous improvement in processes and implementation approach.
- Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to manage senior stakeholders with flexibility in style.
