Your new company

I am currently working with a local not-for-profit organisation that represents over half a million members in the healthcare industry, working with them to make a positive difference. This organisation is now looking to invest and develop their data strategy and grow the function to inform and lead overall service improvements. This role is a hybrid working opportunity, with the flexibility to work from home for up to 60% of the week.

Your new role

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership to the executive team and other decision-making groups on the growth of D&A
  • Lead, create, deliver and report on the D&A strategy, incorporating business needs
  • Refine and lead a team of data professionals across the business
  • Lead, support and manage the D&A Department, providing clear direction, communicating agreed objectives and facilitating individual and team development
  • Lead all necessary changes to the D&A methodologies in a systematic and outcome-based approach
  • Overall responsibility for the D&A budget including management, communication and working within financial, budgetary and business planning procedures
  • Manage the data architecture, ensuring that appropriate guidelines are given to those responsible for designing data structures and repositories as well as data exchange protocols
  • Provide and present modern D&A and BI in accessible, user-intuitive formats that drive understanding, insight and customer-led decision-making across RCN
  • Define the D&A Transformation Programme and prioritise the roadmap from idea to value with the Executive Team and key cross-functional stakeholders
