We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Manager to support our current Nursery Manager in the running of our South Hornchurch setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and an excellent understanding of early childhood education and the EYFS, excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to manage a team effectively. This position will be room based and time will be sent supporting the team in all areas, as well as stepping up in the manager’s absence where necessary.
The Deputy manager will be scheduled from monday to friday, and the position will be permanent.

Your Responsibilities will include:
- Support the Manager with day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children.
- Lead and supervise nursery staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their children.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as safeguarding policies.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, attendance, and developmental milestones.
Your Experience will be:
- Experience in leading a team is essential.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education practices.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
