The SVP, Product Development will inspire and lead a multidisciplinary, global team including product managers, UX and UI designers with a goal of driving innovation and transformation across Mintel’s product portfolio. Based in the London office, this role is pivotal in shaping Mintel’s product strategy, fostering a culture of agility and innovation, and delivering client-focused solutions that set the benchmark for market intelligence. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Deliver Product Strategy: Own the product strategy and its impact on the product portfolio and the commercial objectives of the business. Develop a singular roadmap for the business and establish the vision for how the portfolio will evolve over the next 3-5 years, rooted in innovation and client research. Champion and advance Mintel’s strategic initiatives, serving as a thought leader for products. Ensure Client-Centricity in Product Roadmap: Put client goals at the center of product development efforts. Gather and incorporate client feedback, usage, engagement and revenue data to prioritize and solve the most important problems. Lead Agile Product Development: Oversee a global team with a “fail fast” approach, emphasizing rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agility to enhance Mintel’s product offerings. Ensure the right processes and practices are in place to support the agile approach. Inspire and Empower Teams: Lead and manage a global team of Product Managers and Designers, coaching and developing them to deliver successful client solutions. Cultivate an environment of innovation, autonomy, and high performance. Foster Collaboration Across Mintel: Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Innovation and PMO teams to align roadmaps, plans, and goals. Collaborate with Commercial, Insights, Client Success, and Marketing leaders to identify marketplace opportunities and improve client satisfaction. Drive Innovation and Disruption: Challenge traditional methods and push the boundaries of market research. Develop groundbreaking solutions that redefine Mintel’s role in the industry.
