The Role: As Hygiene Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the hygiene function ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness. This will involve managing the hygiene team and budget, ensuring all cleaning schedules are correct, valid, up to date and that they are adhered to. You’ll ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies, manage all aspects of team development, and maintain the site’s hygiene manual, including cleaning work instructions and schedules. You will work with hygiene contractors to keep processes current and accurate, develop safe systems of work, and create CIC cards for new equipment. This role also requires you to provide technical information to customers, manage COSHH documentation, and participate in accident and incident investigations to prevent future issues. Responsibilities also include managing consumable stocks, preparing for audits like BRC, and supporting continuous improvement projects related to site hygiene. Additionally, you'll inspect and sign off on process equipment cleaning and maintenance.

- Level 2 & 3 Food Safety & Hygiene
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment in a similar role
- IOSH in Health & Safety principles (desirable)
