Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies and 3–5-year plans that strengthen brand positioning and drive performance for our Six Senses and Regent brands.
  • Consumer Insights: Lead the analysis of consumer insights and owner trends within the framework established by the Global Brands Team, translating findings into actionable strategies that differentiate our brands in the luxury category.
  • Brand Equity Development: Set measurable goals for brand equity and track progress, ensuring that brand differentiators are integrated into every aspect of the guest and colleague experience, including hotel operations, innovation, brand culture, training, and marketing.
  • Innovation Pipeline: Spearhead the development and execution of an innovation pipeline, clearly defining and evaluating the impact of innovations on brand performance.
  • Brand Initiatives: Oversee the planning, piloting, and rollout of brand initiatives, hallmarks, and product/service innovations, ensuring alignment with IHG luxury operators, HR, Technology, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Feedback Integration: Partner with regional teams to establish channels for continuous feedback, fostering a culture of learning and improvement that enhances our competitive advantage.
  • Collaborative Roadmap Management: Work with key stakeholders, including Operations and Development, to define and manage a brand roadmap that proactively addresses guest and owner needs while developing effective business models and go-to-market strategies.
  • Talent Strategy Development: Create and implement a talent strategy that promotes brand culture and employee engagement, alongside performance standards and competencies to support the growth of hotel colleagues.
  • Team Leadership: Foster an open and collaborative environment that encourages creativity and strategic thinking. Collaborate with direct reports to set objectives, provide training, and ensure the development of the revenue delivery organization.
  • Operational Excellence: Plan, organize, and lead subordinate functions within established budgetary and staffing plans, setting clear goals, performance standards, and operating procedures.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in an upper luxury brand role, with experience in multiple countries.
  • Ideally in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, economic factors, and hotel operations, particularly in the upper luxury category.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking with a strong ability to analyse markets and performance data to drive improvements.
  • Expertise in Brand Equity measurement and development.
  • Proven project management experience in executing large-scale initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in both people and business contexts.
  • Experience managing multi-partner relationships and working directly with luxury consumers in operations, sales, or marketing.
