As a Portfolio Lead, you will be at the forefront of coordinating the output of a family of parts within our ACC, Commercial Aircraft Group. If you are a capable leader with a talent for coordinating cross-functional teams, ready to embrace new challenges and make a positive impact, join us and be a part of making a difference in shaping the way our world moves.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Provide clear direction and objectives to the cross-functional portfolio team to achieve portfolio objectives, adherence to plan (on time in full) and to all cost and quality targets.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage Tier 2 meetings to review KPIs, highlight issues and drive the team to resolve and escalate issues as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with various stakeholders including Area Managers, Supervisors, Cell Leads, and customer-facing members.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively drive the team to develop and communicate the production plan and ensure adherence to schedules and beat rate management. Collaborate with A&T and Manufacturing Managers, planning and all Support teams to ensure resource availability and meet production targets.
  • Schedule Adherence: Develop detailed plans covering all aspects of the production process, monitor and control plan adherence, and drive the portfolio forward to achieve committed schedules.
  • Cost Management: Drive activities to reduce costs, and activate projects to increase profit.
  • Risk and Scope Management: Manage portfolio risks, champion risk mitigation activities, and ensure engagement from all areas of the business.
  • Customer Management: Support the Programme Manager in day-to-day customer interactions and ensure clear communication of site/business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex portfolios.
  • Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply appropriate methods.
  • Ability to operate at both tactical and strategic levels.
  • Strong motivational and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both formal and informal.
  • Demonstrated success working with all levels of staff and representing the company in front of customers.
  • Ability to deliver against challenging timescales.
  • Experience in programme management is preferred but not essential.
