Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned LNG Trader with around 10 years of experience in the industry. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in trading LNG across the Atlantic and European regions, alongside a deep understanding of US LNG flows. This role offers an exciting opportunity to optimise physical and financial positions, identify and execute high-value trading opportunities, and contribute to the continued success of the firm’s global LNG portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Trade physical and financial LNG cargoes across the Atlantic and European markets, with expertise in US LNG flows.
• Develop and implement robust trading strategies to optimise LNG positions and drive profitability.
• Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify supply-demand trends, pricing structures, and global LNG flow dynamics.
• Negotiate and structure deals with counterparties while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and risk management policies.
• Collaborate closely with risk management, operations, and shipping teams to ensure seamless execution of trades.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key market participants, including suppliers, buyers, and financial institutions.
• Stay informed of market trends, geopolitical influences, and regulatory changes affecting LNG trading.

Key Requirements:

• Approximately 10 years of experience in LNG trading, with a strong record of profitability.
• Extensive expertise in Atlantic and European LNG markets, alongside an in-depth understanding of US LNG flows.
• Strong experience in both physical and financial LNG trading strategies.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Exceptional market analysis and decision-making abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of risk management principles and trading compliance.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, results-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing trading team.
