How about a job you can really make your own? Something you’d be in on right at the start and have the opportunity to take as far as you want? A job with support if you need it but the room to make decisions and shape the business if you don’t; something you could look back on with real pride and a sense of achievement and something where your contribution would be both noticed and valued.
This is a brand new site so you’ll play an active part in store recruitment and the training and onboarding of your team and it’ll be up to you to make sure the site is ready to trade when it opens. Once open, the site is yours and you’ll essentially take control of everything on a day-to-day basis, setting the tone with regards to service and standards, running seasonal promotions, managing deliveries and overseeing all short, medium and long-term business objectives.
You’ll have some retail management or supervisory experience, obviously and you’ll be a natural when it comes to leading a team, driving service standards and ensuring your business runs smoothly. If you have some experience of working with quality food, fresh produce or deli then even better. This is a people business so, most importantly, you’ll be great with people - both your team and your customers.
Really well established and with the finances to prove it, this business is a household name in the Norfolk area and this project is the start of what is planned to be considerable retail expansion.
