Hello. We’re Haleon, a new world-leading consumer health company. Together, we’re improving everyday health for billions of people by growing and innovating our global portfolio of category-leading brands. The Vice President of Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture will define and execute Haleon’s global technology strategy to align with business priorities and industry trends. Reporting to the Chief Digital & Technology Officer, they will lead the Digital & Technology Strategy for Haleon, define underpinning technology capabilities, oversee enterprise architecture, cross-functional technology solution design, and critical enterprise governance.
This role requires a strategic mindset, deep technical expertise, and proven leadership in driving innovation, optimizing systems, and managing risk in a fast-paced, global environment. The incumbent will have the ability to assess maturity/readiness for scaling at Haleon over a 5-year horizon. The position requires an impressive storyteller who can engage and inspire employees and stakeholders on the possibilities of technology.
Responsibilities include:
- Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design
- Lead digital strategy aligned with the Haleon business strategy.
- Develop and govern enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, controls, and system design patterns.
- Oversee end-to-end solution design for critical technology initiatives.
- Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies.
- Create and execute a horizon 1, 2 & 3 Digital Strategy.
- Provide strategic technology thought leadership.
- Build and lead innovation capabilities.
- Regularly engage with cross-functional leaders and executive teams.
- Manage high-value strategic relationships with global technology partners.
- Establish and optimize IT governance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.
- Oversee processes to ensure stability in global business operations.
- Drive cost efficiency across the technology landscape.
- Lead and develop a global team.
- Provide coaching and mentorship.
- Manage an annualized budget.
- Define and track KPIs across engineering, infrastructure, data, and emerging technology initiatives.
- Build and evaluate ROI and TCO models.
- Deliver measurable value by aligning technological initiatives with business outcomes.
Basic Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership.
- Expertise in architectural frameworks and integration across ERP, data, and shared dependencies.
- Experience building scalable, cloud-native systems.
- Proven knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps, and distributed system design.
- Strong familiarity with cutting-edge technologies.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong financial acumen.
