Head of Relationship Management – Invoice Finance

Our client, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of Financial Services to businesses, requires a Head of Relationship Management to join their team in the South of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Line management responsibility of the operations team, including effective recruitment, performance management, and providing ongoing training and development to ensure the team is fit for purpose.
  2. Develop and maintain excellent standards of client service through team members to maximise client retention and contract renewals at an acceptable level.
  3. Develop and maintain appropriate risk and recoveries management, including regular client reviews and input on high-risk client situations and collect-outs.
  4. Support business development activity and growth of the IF portfolio by underwriting new business, promoting group products and undertaking introducer development.
  5. Take part in and contribute to team meetings, management meetings and presentations to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  1. 5 years+ experience in client and portfolio management or similar relevant experience.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to build key internal and external relationships.
  3. Strong analytical skills (financial and other information/credit searches).
  4. Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred, albeit applications will also be welcomed from those candidates currently working in a senior Relationship Management position.
