Behaviour Mentor needed for a Secondary school in Greenwich.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing assistance to students in classrooms.
- Work closely with other staff members, such as behaviour mentors, youth workers, and pastoral care workers.
- Providing 1:1 direct intervention and support within the classroom.
- Contribute to creating a positive learning environment for students in collaboration with the class teacher.
- Observe and evaluate pupils' responses about the progress of their learning and interventions.
- Ensure that all pupils are included in the classroom.
- Provide support to the class teacher when it comes to managing classroom behaviour.
- Maintain communication with the behavioural and SLT teams regarding the progress of the students.
- Support young people who struggle in the classroom by mentoring them.
