We are offering an exceptional opportunity to join a prestigious international investment management company based in Mayfair. Established nearly 20 years ago by a team of former Goldman Sachs professionals, with offices in London, Geneva, Zurich, and Luxembourg.

Overview

As an Analyst within our Private Markets team, you will play a key role in supporting the investment process by conducting in-depth research, financial modelling, and preparing presentations and pitchbooks. You will contribute to identifying investment opportunities and assisting in executing the firm's investment strategy. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative individual with a strong interest in illiquid asset classes, including private equity, private credit, and real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the investment team to screen, research, analyse, and benchmark potential investment opportunities.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial and investment models, including cash flow modelling, risk analysis (sensitivity and scenario-based outcomes), and return on equity/debt calculations.
  • Prepare, update, and enhance pitchbooks, marketing materials, and other investor-facing content (e.g., teasers, talk sheets, backup analyses).
  • Assist with the management of in-house deal and portfolio of funds monitoring and reporting, including preparing Investment Committee memos, overseeing asset portfolios, and supporting regulatory processes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the investment opportunity and fund manager database.
  • Assist in strengthening Nevastar's expertise and presence in private equity and private real estate investment (PE/PERE).

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background (preferably at the master's level) in business, finance, economics, or a related field. 1-2 years of existing work experience in private markets is a prerequisite.

Location: St. James’s, London

Salary: From £45K per annum, commensurate with experience, plus a discretionary year-end bonus.

Hours: Standard working hours are 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on workload.

Contract: Permanent position with a 3-month probationary period.
