Overview: A prestigious, global commercial real estate lender is seeking an experienced leader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of CRE loans backed by UK and European real estate investments and developments. This role is key in ensuring robust loan performance and adherence to all documentation and compliance standards across the loan lifecycle. Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Oversee and inspire a team of asset managers, setting clear targets and guiding their performance.
- Loan and Asset Oversight: Serve as the primary point of contact for the day-to-day administration of CRE warehouse loans. Collaborate with internal teams—including asset management, legal, and origination—to review and manage all finance-related documents from pre-closing through the life of the loan. Develop and maintain detailed financial models to monitor significant loan milestones and deliverables.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with borrowers, facility agents, and external advisors to ensure timely reporting and strict compliance with loan covenants. Evaluate waiver and modification requests, support the underwriting process, and present findings to the credit oversight team.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports using customized templates, ensuring senior leadership is updated on portfolio performance and key loan events. Communicate complex financial information clearly to various internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
5+ years experience in CRE loan management within the finance or real estate sectors.
