What You’ll Do
- We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Central Continuous Improvement to join Stanley Black & Decker on a permanent basis located in Europe.
- As the CI Director, you will operate as a key change agent focused on building world-class CI capability, supporting the identification of productivity and Kaizen opportunities to ensure flawless execution whilst providing additional coaching/support.
- You will be responsible for ensuring each of our sites within North and South EU regions have productivity plans (Kaizen Schedules) that contain sufficient operational improvement projects to attain/exceed YoY site-level productivity targets.
- In addition, you will lead and develop a team of Central CI Senior Engineers and Engineers within the region.
Who You Are
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Manufacturing experience to include line responsibility and experience with the main manufacturing functions: production, maintenance, quality, production engineering, internal logistics, and launch (NPI)
- Deep experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification
- Proficiency with financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, global and domestic, travel % may vary based on business needs
