We are looking for a Head of Supply Chain Management to join our team to have end-to-end accountability for our London-based Hospital providers to optimize delivery, quality, and value for the benefit of our customers and our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the strategic agenda and own the operational performance of hospital contracts, terms, and rates for a portfolio of hospitals with a spend of up to £250m.
  • Negotiate hospital tenders to deliver Aviva’s strategic aims across commercial value, quality, customer experience, and ESG.
  • End-to-end accountability for strategy, plans, service development, contract compliance, and provider performance.
  • Lead the management of critical hospital relationships.
  • Develop a strong team of Provider Management professionals.
  • Ensure smooth running of flagship condition-based treatment networks across hospitals nationally.
  • Lead development initiatives to enhance the quality of hospital services.

Skills and Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of the private medical insurance market and understanding of the UK Health system.
  • Strong analytical and commercial experience.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management.
  • Track record of operational management with third parties.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ability to deliver good customer and regulatory outcomes.
