As a Flexible Nursery Agency Worker, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of nursery settings in Maidstone and Medway. You will provide high-quality care and education to children, supporting their development and ensuring they are safe and well-cared for at all times.
Your duties will include:
- Providing exceptional care for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
- Supporting nursery staff in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities.
- Assisting with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Ensuring that children’s individual needs are met in accordance with their personal development plans.
- Promoting positive behaviour, supporting children’s social and emotional development.
- Following the policies and procedures of the nursery, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or looking after children (ideally 3 months+).
- A flexible, adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work in a variety of settings.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
- Paediatric First Aid certificate (preferred but not essential).
