gap personnel are proud to be working with a major client based in Wrexham. Whilst we supply Production Operators to our client, we are now supporting them with a HR Administrator to cover maternity leave Responsible for providing a proactive, confidential administrative and support service to their 2 sites, covering all departments with HR issues Specific responsibilities will include the following: – * Undertake data entry of starters, leavers, processing and payroll changes * Process overtime for staff and input all hours to meet payroll deadlines * Arrange appointments for Occupational Health referrals and Heath Surveillance for their 2 sites. Sending letters, confirming appointments and keeping an update of all staff health surveillance * Support the new starter onboarding process, ensuring employees references, qualification certificates are checked thoroughly * Produce letters of employment, changes to terms and conditions, internal transfers, respond to mortgage and employment references * Support the recruitment and selection process and being involved in first stage and internal interviews * Maintain the Company’s time management system by ensuring that employee data is kept up to date with holiday and sickness absence * Order all PPE for various departments and ensure all spreadsheets are updated * Responsible for liaising with Team Leaders and Departmental Leads with all accurate employee records and data Skills * Candidates will have proven administration experience * Ideally from a manufacturing administration background * HR and Payroll background would be advantageous * Possess a good level of general education and will be qualified to ‘A’ level standard * Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel * High Degree of self-motivation * Attention to detail and organisation ability * The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication and inter-personal skills together with a ‘team player’ approach Company Benefits * Company Sick Pay * Flexible Working Arrangements * Healthcare cash plan scheme for reimbursement for dental, optical etc * Rewards – discount available on major retailers * Cycle to Work Scheme * Discounts on mobile phone, sim and broadband deals * Long Service Awards THIS IS A MATERNITY COVER FOR 10 MONTHS TO START IN JANUARY 2025 Gap personnel is an employment agency and are supporting their client with an HR Administrator
