We are proud and excited to be partnering with a brilliant advertising agency who are looking for an exceptional Project Director to join their team in London! They do some incredible work mainly working with global luxury, premium, fashion, and lifestyle brands. They work 4 days in the London Studio with 1 day remote. This position will work closely with the CD and MD. There is a team of 16 people (includes ADs, Designers, Producers etc). The position requires strong organisation, solid client communication, team management skills with strong pre/post production experience.
The Role
The Project Director will be responsible for pro-actively planning all resource allocation throughout the year. They will employ a "protect the creatives" mindset to shield the creatives from clients and any pressure. This position requires strong, confident and clear direction. The right profile will have excellent strategic operational, production experience with strong client facing skills. A proven background in the luxury fashion/lifestyle sector is a must. You will have worked across advertising and social first projects, and have a background in the luxury/premium space. Working in great collaboration with the teams around you, you'll maintain and develop strong client and supplier relationships, utilising your exceptional communication skills to ensure clear information and accurate instructions are given for production.
The day to day...
- Creative Development
- Liaise with client and manage all client briefings and expectations
- Brief into the creative team
- Manage all workflow (has strong workflow tools experience)
- Plan and organise the entire creative development process, in the following phases:
- Project kick-off
- Freelance briefing
- Ideation brainstorming meetings
- Presentation kick-off
- Deck structure alignment
- Client Presentation
- Work closely with Production Companies to brief creative ideas and ensure strong communication to production partners
- Manage production company budgets and think of ways to deliver the creativity within the budgets set by client
- Organize all post production bids with the help of the post producer
- Attend shoots and be the point of contact between the studio and the production companies
- Troubleshoot problems
- Work with creatives to develop vendor (e.g. casting directors, agents, etc) related decks
- Manage the post-producers team
- Lead post production work flow and manage information flow among creative team, post production vendors and client
- Have a daily control of where the assets stand and coordinate workflow to minimize delays
- Pro-actively alert clients, vendors and creative teams of schedule changes
- Pro-actively alert Executive Producer if further negotiations with vendors are needed and make sure they happen in a timely manner
- Alert and get client approval for any overages
- Pro-actively manage client expectations about assets delivery
