Smart Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated Educational Psychologist to support students aged 7 to 18 across two specialist school sites in Walsall. These schools cater to a diverse range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and complex needs. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about making a meaningful impact on young people’s lives through psychological assessments, interventions, and staff training.

Job Requirements for this Educational Psychologist role:
- Must be HCPC registered as an Educational Psychologist
- Must hold a Doctorate in Educational Psychology
- Experience working with children and young people or relevant transferable skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, staff, and external professionals
- Understanding of psychotherapeutic approaches, particularly in relation to young people with complex needs
- Knowledge of legislation related to SEND, trauma, mental health, and safeguarding
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between sites is required
