Shift: 8am till 4:30pm

Performs logistical tasks (receiving & shipping), troubleshooting, repairs (mechanical or electrical in nature), testing, and cleaning of customer returned products. Directly supports operational improvement activities and the implementation of cost reduction ideas. This role supports service implementation in the depot. Work with cross-functional stakeholders. Escalates technical issues. Troubleshoots assigned issues.
Responsibilities:
- Provides repair services and solutions of customer equipment with minimal supervision. Coordinates internal testing and implementation.
- Provide input & feedback helping to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the repair & commissioning process.
- Performs tasks associated with evaluating and validating customer complaint information, repair history, and contract entitlements.
- Troubleshoots quickly and accurately based upon information given, observations, and/or product knowledge.
- Performs work method analysis and develops best practices for a variety of operations along with setting standard work times. Analyzes data and trends associated with repeat repairs with ability to implement corrective actions.
- Regularly contributes ideas and supports the implementation of continuous improvement action items.
- Strong knowledge of Zebra products and repair processes.
Qualifications: We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team in Preston; you should have some knowledge/experience in this role or similar.
