Join the Close Brothers Customer Service Team where you will provide Brokers and Customers with excellent service, answering their queries which range from onboarding, defaults, to identifying vulnerable customers and more. Our ideal team member will have previous experience in Customer Services and work as part of a team to ensure the fulfillment of both external and internal SLAs as set out by management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Providing excellent customer service to both brokers and customers.
  • Adopting a professional manner in all interactions with internal and external customers.
  • Carrying out underwriting checks to authorize agreements for customers and brokers.
  • Responding to all inbound electronic traffic (web, i-mails, and emails).
  • Making outbound calls to customers and brokers to provide excellent service through first-time resolution where required.
  • Owning and driving resolution over the phone with our internal and external customers.
  • Responding to all inbound calls adhering to set targets (daily, weekly, and monthly).
  • Updating all system notes at the end of the call ensuring they meet the department’s required standards.
  • Participating in testing new system changes as and when required.
  • Maintaining CBPF’s compliance with all applicable regulation, ensuring CBPF is at all times compliant with the FCA principles and internal procedures for Treating Customers Fairly.

  • Have experience working in Customer Services.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal.
  • Are a college-level applicant desirable or have a background in Operations with vocational qualifications.
  • Are flexible, innovative, and display control while working in a pressurized environment.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Previous experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
