About the Role
The Financial Analyst is an integral part of Latham's Finance & Accounting team. This role will be responsible for monitoring and responding to requests sent to the Financial Information Center (FIC) and responding to other ad-hoc requests from partners and management, while working in a team environment to complete ad-hoc financial analyses, reports, and special projects related to client statistics and firm financial metrics. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Utilising analytical skills and expert knowledge of business, economics, finance, and accounting to complete complex tasks.
- Utilising 3E financial system and Business Objects to obtain data, organise information, and build reports to facilitate effective analysis.
- Accurately interpreting requests for analysis and reporting to produce appropriate and correct final work product.
- Effectively communicating work product to colleagues across the firm through e-mail, phone, web conference, video conference, and in-person presentations, while answering any questions that may arise regarding the data and/or analytical methods and assumptions used to build the work product.
- Making recommendations to streamline the workflow and process within the organization while utilizing new technologies to automate tasks and reporting.

- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Related analytical experience in finance or accounting, preferably.
- Experience at a professional services organization, preferably.
- Experience in working on ad-hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced environment.
